Cooking for wellness

Your Confidential Kitchen

Therapy For Catering Professionals

A different approach to mental wellness  for the workers in hotels, restaurants, pubs and diners!

A Taste of Excitement For Culinary Therapy

My journey with food began in the late 1980s in Suffolk where I qualified in catering before moving to London where I was classically trained and mentored in 4 and 5-star hotels. Since this time, my passion for food continued for over 25 years in various hospitality locations.  As a culinary therapist, I infuse these experiences with a dash of my own brand of kitchen therapy and knowledge that I have gained through my training in mental health and health and social care. Your kitchen confidential uses cooking as a means of communication and expression which activates the reward pathways in our brains. Whether you are thinking and mixing your thoughts about your next task, I am able to work with you while assessing your emotional and physical needs so we can explore future goals. Like a recipe for a healthier mind, confidential kitchen therapy is for everyone in the food industry who connects with food.  This includes people who are not directly working with food but also for those who work in the foodie environment.  The benefits and applications are far-reaching, rich and delicious when mixed with a splash of therapeutic solution-focused conversations.  Your kitchen confidential therapy can support people in the food industry with:

  • When you are feeling stuck in a rut, what next?
