Motivation

Motivation is the driving force that determines much of our behaviour.

Your desires can motivate you to act in positive and negative ways.

Motivation is used to encourage people to make positive and behavioral changes in their lives.

Resilience

Resilience and growth do not stem from a lack of something, but rather a desire to develop and be more self-sustaining as a person.

Once these needs have been reasonably satisfied, one may be able to cope better emotionally.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

A lack of motivation can be seen as unresolved and when something is unresolved, it is unclear and uncertain. Solution motivation mentoring and food and mood therapy places a focus on what you want to be different using goals that are reachable for you.

Most often, this relationship works well when I work with you to discover what the driving force is within your circumstances.  As a common interest, we work together on motivational solutions to understand how we can move towards positive sustainable change.

Mentoring and food and mood therapy support people with:

  • Taking part in an activity and having fun.
  • Talking about family worries.
  • Feeling socially isolated.
  • Improving your communication with others.
  • Understanding your physical and emotional needs.
  • Meal planning and understanding health and nutrition
  • Education (Maths, English, Food Science, Food History, Food Geography, Food Art).
  • Reducing your stress and anxiety by increasing your happiness through cooking for wellness.
  • Decreasing your worries about the future by bringing together your positive senses.
  • Setting personal goals to allow you to express your needs.
  • Providing a confidential space to talk about your wishes, feelings, thoughts and experiences.
  • Kitchen safety and hygiene.
  • Learning an essential life skill where you can eat any mistakes without feeling pressured.
  • Helping to activate the reward pathways in your brain through making and doing something expressive.
  • Supporting you if you're feeling stuck in a rut, what next?
